Shetland Sheepdogs -commonly known as Shelties --are often referred to as "Little Lassie " --but they are not collies!Perhaps they resemble their "Movie-Star" counterpart in miniature --but that is where the similarity ends !
At Leith Kennels -our dogs are very much part of the family . Our breeding program strives to produce dogs with sweet temperment and structually sound bodies . All breeding dogs are tested for hips , eyes and thyroid . We sell our puppies(show or pet quality), registered , with a health guarantee and first vaccinations..
We are members of the Canadian Kennel Club, Battle River Canine Assoc. , The Canadian Shetland Sheepdog Assoc and NADAC..We actively participate in Conformation , Obedience and Agility.
